DUers in Southern States - please
pay attention to those tornado warnings. It's going to be one of those weekends.

6. What's bad is that basements get kinda scarce the farther east you go in TN.
Stay safe. :hi:

17. I'm between Chattanooga & Knoxville.. we had some bas storms this morning..
It's getting rough out again right now.. skies are black, wind blowing... I've already lost a piece of tin from the roof, but we got it put back up already. It's starting to thunder again right now...

We don't have a basement, but the kids and I have a few things ready to grab and run out the door with....

Hope everyone stays safe!

Peace,

Ghost

21. Thank you...
We've dodged a few bad storms here in the past 6 years... got away with a little wind damage.

I went through Hurricane Andrew, rode it out in Florida City, Florida... tornadoes worry me a LOT more than hurricanes do...

Peace,

Ghost

16. A tornado hit Wartrace?
I'm about six miles east, I saw some rotation as it passed overhead.

5. Thanks!
I watch the warnings like a hawk. The cats go into the big bathroom. If we all end up together in there with one near us, I'll probably die from the scratches.

7. Yeah, I just reminded my wife to put her car in our detached garage...
...of course a corner of it was taken out by a 90 foot oak tree last month, but that might increase the odds that the garage will survive this evening's action.

23. I'm in Virginia
Fortunately we have a basement to go to if need be.

I don't mind thunderstorms but when they start talking tornadoes I get real nervous.

I hope beyond hope we won't have to. A tornado actually hit our house in 2007. What are the odds? Ugh.

I'm in SE Kentucky.

If the storm moves due east, the center will pass over me at some point. I'm in NE SC. If they follow teh stupid, the whole state may be gone.

36. It appears my area dodged the bullet.
The explanation from the news was the rain storm we had earlier cooled things off enough to push the bigger storm to the south of us. We've gotten a bit of rain tonight but that's it so far.

37. We caught hell for about 2 hours,
but the only damage was some limbs in the yard and some hail that dinged up a few cars. My outside cats were scared shitless though and just now came out from under the house.
