A Modest Proposal for Tea Bag Day
Edited on Fri Apr-10-09 07:47 PM by MineralMan
Wanna drive the Freepers completely crazy? Wanna watch the festivities without appearing to be as nutty as the Freepers? Here's what to do:

Dress in serious business attire -- dark suits for men; severe business dress for women.

Get a camera with a telephoto lens. 35 mm, digital, whatever. The longer the lens the better. Go to the tea bag thing, but keep your distance. Don't participate. Just be seen to be taking photos of people in the demonstration. Stay in public, with people around you.

You don't have to actually take any photos. Just be seen taking telephoto shots of people in the crowd.

Freepers are paranoid. They will assume that you're some sort of Fed agent and it will bother them a lot. Some will leave. Some will try to hide in the crowd. Ignore it all. Watch the crowd, then raise the camera, focus on someone and snap away. You can remain a good distance from the crowd of protestors, but they'll see you, I promise.

You will make some of them fearful, and you'll make all of them nervous. Then, while it's still going on, but after you've been there awhile, just leave. Go to Starbucks and have some coffee, or go shopping. Later, you can return to your car and go home.

That's it. Very effective with paranoid folks in a crowd like that.

Basic Psyops.
