daughter started her new job tonight. LOVES IT
she was a crew trainer at Micky D's but she tired of it after over a year

she quit that job after she got one at a local sports adventure place that has rides, mini golf, go-carts, batting cages, driving range and arcade games.

She is currently the person that sells the passes and wrist bands ect...

said she really likes it and the person training her told her tonight she was really impressed with her and said that if she keeps it up, she could be promoted within months!!!

YEAAA

because of the weather, her schedule is a little light compared to her hours at Micky D's but it will pick up

I am glad she is happy

1. That is great news. It's easier to go to work when you like your
job! Congrats to your daughter!

2. she liked the money she made at Micky D's but she
had an asshole assistant manager who did not like women (his wife wore a burka)

let all the guy employees screw off and really down graded all the girls that worked there.

Even at that, she made Crew trainer within two months of starting there. After a year she had enough and during spring break spent a lot of time looking for jobs and landed this one. She went for the interview and had the job within 15 minutes.

her manager tonight told her she was very impressed with how she handled complaints and people.

She started at 7 bucks an hour.

At Micky D's she made 7.75 and hour and worked almost 40 hours a week, so she has had a couple of weeks without money...made her really think about things...

7. I just think you know what you're getting into on the interview
Does that make sense? Though I didn't know that 4 years after I had this current job my boss would turn into a complete bitch..and that's why I'm looking for a new job right now. I love the company, I love the owners, I hate my boss. LOL
