ARREST in Tracy California

For those of you who have not heard about this, there has been an arrest in the kidnapping and murder of little 8yr old Sandra Cantu. They have arrested a woman, Melissa Huckby... the mother of Sandra's best friend and Sunday School teacher of the church in the near vicinity of the trailor park. Granddaughter of the preacher who runs that church. She was arrested after 5 hours of questioning around midnight last nite..charged with Kidnapping and Murder; in jail, no bail. Arraignment on Tuesday in Tracy. SHOCKING!!!

4. A couple of things to me

1) That it was a woman.
2) That the woman was the best friend of Sandra's mother.

We all know there are a bunch of sleazy pedophiles out there, and we know we need to protect our children from them, but I don't think we all think we necessarily have to protect our kids from our own best friends. Creepy.

6. Clearing this up

I must have phrased it wrong.. Sandra's best friend's mother, not Sandra's mother's best friend. This little girl that Sandra played with (she was 5) was her best friend. Melissa was the mother of that little 5 year old. Sorry, if I said it wrong earlier..
