Palin family interview in Esquire --family talks about Levi's "wedding ring" (???)
Someone want to explain to me why it is that Sarah's sister Molly said that Levi got his WEDDING RING stuck on his thumb when there has supposedly NOT been a wedding yet and all we have seen is Bristol's name tattooed on his ringer finger??? Sounds like the family was off guard during the Esquire interview and let this slip?

From someone on a blog who has bought and read the article:

https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?postID=5908513751020495547&blogID=4091845104881454109&isPopup=false&page=2

"A month later" Esquire is with Todd in Scott Davis's garage 200 miles away. They aren't at Todd's home. The reporter can't count infants, boyfriends, or pregnant bellies for us. Two weeks ago the news was "that Bristol had given birth to a healthy baby boy, TriPP." There is only this mention that that was news. No personal account by Todd.

The picture of Todd with his feet on the table is "on Super Bowl Sunday." That would be a couple of weeks after the interview in Scott's garage. But there's no interview or baby count to go with it.

Interesting quotes:

Willow's friend Cassidy is coming over.
"You're taking TriG," Bristol says to Willow.
"What? No!"
Bristol smirks. "Willow friggin' never watches him," she says.
"You're watching the baby," Todd says to Willow, his tone a statement of fact.

In the kitchen:
Molly says, "Levi got his wedding ring stuck on his thumb." Sarah says, "Levi! That's par for the course. That means you're stuck. That's symbolic or something."

Chuck Heath snippet: In response to the rumor that TriG was actually Bristol's baby, Chuck Heath says, "How can you prove that? Goddammit! I was there when he popped out!"

So, Willow doesn't like to babysit TriG. That night, Bristol & Levi were hands off.

Levi had a wedding ring.

Grandpa Heath didn't say that he saw TriG pop out or out of whom.

From an article back in Sept 2008, referencing the AK blog entry that pretty much started it all..Sue Williams from Wasilla

http://www.examiner.com/x-221-Seattle-People-Examiner~y2008m9d3-Sarah-Palin-gets-dished-by-Wasilla-caterer-Sue-Williams

It has come out in the past couple of days that she and her high school boyfriend had a quickie wedding and that she is home schooling her senior year.

(snip)

She has been out of sight in Alaska for the past couple months. I learned the morning we all heard Sarah was chosen that Bristol and her high school boyfriend had had a quickie wedding. So, at least Sarah’s grandchild won’t be born to an unwed teenage mother, just a teenage, senior in high school mother.

4. Posts such as the OP just makes Dems look petty and spreading
rumors. Get the stories straight or else leave it to the RW to spread rumors/lies.

5. Here's my theory
They did get married. The reporter was sitting there like a fly on the wall, the family was off guard, didn't realize their banter was on record, and the existance of a wedding ring slipped out.

They had said this to explain the ring finger tattoo:
Back in September, Bristol said that Levi lost the "friendship ring" she had given Levi..lost it "while hunting". He told her, per Bristol and Levi, don't get me another one because "I'll just lose it again" and instead he replaced the ring with her name tattooed on his ring finger.

That so called "friendship" ring was really a wedding ring. They were already married. Hence the ring on Bristol's ring finger when she made her national debut that caught everyone's eye and why Levi got the tattoo on that finger.

Between the wedding ring comment from Palin's own sister and Palin herself (hence not rumor) and the "already married" comment from the blogger back in September, something is just not adding up the way Sarah Palin wants it to.
So much for her "asking for the wisdom to know when to shut my mouth" comment on that radio news show a few days ago. she may have been a few weeks late with that wish.

To those in this thread that say I shouldn't have posted my OP...if no one here is interested in this topic, it will sink. But thanks for when you bumped it to the top to tell me that I shouldn't have posted it.

6. Your theory makes as much sense as anything
connected with that family.

Boy, did we dodge a bullet with that one. Hopefully she won't have a chance to try again.

8. Two speculation camps exist
Edited on Mon Apr-13-09 06:51 AM by rainbow4321
The speculations seem to change with each nugget of info that surfaces. Married when they found out about Tripp and they just led people to believe they were not married yet. Tripp's real birthdate is in question. The later the birthdate increases odds of Bristol being able to have both babies.
We've been told that they had been dating longterm for like 3 years....yet her myspace history shows her with Johnny as of May 2007.
Per Bristol, Palin asked her if she was pregnant in May 2007 after overhearing her talk to Johnny on the phone. . Throw in Bristol being MIA with "mono" from Nov 2007 til after Trig being born...she was not in school ANYwhere for 5 or 6 months.
This wedding ring comment is another smoking gun. Straight from the Palins' mouths.
