Obama's Daughters Call Ted Kennedy 'Uncle Teddy'

This was just reported while discussing the Obama's new dog, Bo. Apparently Sasha and Malia call Kennedy, 'Uncle Teddy.' At the risk of sounding mushy, I got a little teary eyed when hearing that. I think that is SO SWEET!

I have to believe that the girls and Caroline 'bonded' during the campaign. It makes so much sense that I have to believe it.

7. Growing up..

I had lots of 'uncles' and 'aunts' that I didn't realize until later weren't actually related to me :)

8. Growing up, I had an "Uncle Charlie" who was no biological relation to me.

He was the father of a boy my mother taught in elementary school. The boy grew up to be an Army officer whom my father swore into service upon his commissioning. Uncle Charlie was the sweetest, nicest man in the world, and his death was the first death I ever experienced. My brother and sister and I were heartbroken.

I love that Sasha and Malia call Kennedy, "Uncle Teddy." That's so sweet. :-)
