WTF is "Foxnation.com?"
Truly bizarre--it's like a mirror site to good ol' www.foxnews.com, only everything has been retitled to seem even MORE red-facedly anti-Obama and anti-Democrat. However, all the links lead straight back to FNN...and it sure LOOKS a lot like a Fox News website, only a tiny bit less streamlined.

Dig the blaring headlines like "Why Is Obama Insulting the Vatican?" and "A Revolt Steeped in History...Which Congressmen Are Attending Tea Parties?" as well as complimentary attention to commentators like Krauthammer, O'Reilly, and Beck. (Sample: "O'Reilly Destroys Eminem and Media Matters." Uh-huh...) Also, plenty of comment space under each article, which is odd, because nearly all Fox News articles (unlike CNN and MSNBC) have that feature anyway...were they sick of just a TINY bit of dissent from the left-leaning community?

But the thing I have to figure out is--is someone at Fox News responsible for this Ultra Super-eXtreme!! edition of Fox News? If so, that's pretty damn insidious, but if not--how many "News Networks" have friggin' FAN SITES devoted to them?

1. AP: Fox News launches Web site FoxNation.com
NEW YORK -Fox News has started a Huffington Post-style Web site in an attempt to increase the network's online reach.

FoxNation.com debuted Monday as a destination for political commentary, highlighted by columns, blogs and videos by the network's personalities. Contributors include Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and Greta Van Susteren.

As the site rolls out in the coming weeks, it will add social networking components and encourage visitors to post their opinions.

"In simple terms, it's kind of Drudge meets Huffington Post," said Joel Cheatwood, senior vice president at Fox News Channel, referring to Matt Drudge's DrudgeReport.com and Arianna Huffington's collaborative blog.

4. Cheatwood. Huh huh huh.
I swear, these guys keep up their fine tradition of making satire redundant.

Can't make this stuff up...

11. Funny how that "fair & balanced" Fox "News" blog is all rightwingers.
It's almost like Fox "News" isn't really "fair and balanced" at all.

LOL!
