they weren't having tea parties when GWB was blowing gazillions on big pharm, ADM and Halliburton. Hell their candidate suspended his campaign to make sure wall street got gazillions from Bush Inc.

No, they don't mind huge ass federal spending as long as they think all of that spending is being spent on white people. The millisecond it looks like a penny will be spent on non-whites then it's time to whip out the tea parties.

it started out "are you against higher taxes"? The explosion of the welfare state, an unprecedented power grab by the government, a crade to grave socialist society, blah blah blah. Rinse. Lather. Repeat. Yada yada yada.

These kind of uprisings only seem to happen when their perceived party is not in power.

Even though very few if any policies have really changed.

They are a bunch of people that are easily led. Their leaders rely on them not being up on the actual issues so they can say things without critical review.

If you were to sit one of them down, and ask them how they felt about the way the Constitution was ignored for 8 years, you'd get "but it was Arabs!"

So, they feel insecure in the fact that the guy they voted for lost. And they fear the possibility that everything they are afraid of is possible. (They just don't care that Bush put them in this situation)
