8. Yes, and it is a slap in the face for the Repubs that claimed the stimulus money
would get out too slowly to help the economy. It turns out that the bids on the projects are much, much lower than previous estimates because there is so much competition for the jobs, and the work is starting fast since many of the construction companies had no work. Part of the announcement was that with the lower bids MORE projects can be done, meaning more contracts, more jobs, etc.
