Glenn Beck backs out as San Antonio Tea Party keynote speaker
Radio and television host Glenn Beck has decided to back out as keynote speaker for the San Antonio Tea Party. He announced on his radio program on Thursday morning that he is concerned his presence may distract from the message the organizers are trying to send.

11. Well, well, well. The back-peddling has begun. Maybe after his little gasoline-dousing thing
on Friday Cry Baby Beck finally got a call from Mr. Ailes telling him to tone down his incendiary rhetoric....or better yet....maybe he got a nice little visit from someone else telling him he was inching very close to breaking a law???

Another theory: There is zero doubt these tea-bagging parties are going to bring out the most vile and hateful racists and bigots. And Beck didn't want video or photos of him getting cheered and applauded by his fan base.

Very, very interesting.

Let's keep up the pressure.

18. It's really something
when commentators of the "Fair and Balanced" network is actively participating in Anti Obama rallies. When the pretense is dropped, and they openly call for revolution against a sitting President.

Think back a few short years, what would they have called a person actively calling for revolution against Bush and his policies? Ask the many people who had their careers ruined just speaking out against it.

24. Well, San Antonio doesn't have much of a seaport, anyway.
;-)

But how could his presence detract from the idiotic message the organizers are sending? It could only add to the idiocy.

26. Aren't members of his magic underwear cult discouraged from drinking tea?
However, I don't know their stance on teabagging, but I imagine they use the standard one.
