Are they a legitimate threat to the US?

Are they the next al-Qaeda?

Are they the next boogey man?

I feel like we will be hearing a lot more about them in the coming months/years.

1. I know them fairly well

A) depends on how you define legitimate threat.. US agents assisted the Ethiopian invasion and occupation, so yes, US forces are considered a perfectly valid target if boots set foot on the ground in Somalia. I don't understand how people can think occupying the country again is a good idea. Want to help?--stay the fuck away.

"next al-Qaeda" -- not even "al-Qaeda" is the next "al-Qaeda".. but sure, things can be spun any way, and there's plenty of gullible, bloodthirsty asshat keyboard commandos to swallow that line (I'm speaking also of present surroundings).

2. Yeah, I was asking particulary about the spin.

I ask about 'al-Qaeda' in much the same 'boogey-man' role they play now. And, if enough hate and fear could be ginned up towards them to escalate military action. We've already hit SOmalia with rockets.
