4. How about Russell Crowe with glasses?
Actually he kinda looks like George Lucas, but I doubt Lucas would want to act! :o)

Of course, there are prolly other actors that actually look like Phillips. I just can't think of who they are.

11. I would go for Cheech
And I would alter the script so the pirates were actually Mexican drug runners with a few pounds of pot, in an enclosed boat, and nothing to do for days.

19. If it's a TV movie he probably won't do it. My vote goes for Kurt Russell.
He's due for more attention, plus the money guys who run Hollywood want to give a job to one of their own.

24. I think Hanks would do a TV movie depending on the subject matter...
If he felt this story needed to be told and the only way was via the television, I don't think he would turn it down. On the other hand, Kurt Russell isn't a bad choice either.

39. And you know, he could TOTALLY make it worth watching.
He gets a lot of grief, and deservedly so... But when he's good, he's very VERY good. "The Vampire's Kiss" springs to mind.

36. He was a real hero putting himself in harm's way for his crew.
He doesn't deserve anyone's wrath. But we should look at how other countries are fishing the somali waters, and why the pirates are being recruited to defend their waters.
