What the teabaggers are really saying with their "grass roots" protests
We are mad that Obama is President and having a popular progressive black man in charge just bugs the shit out of us.

1. And they are scared that someone, somewhere, somehow is going to get something that they, in
their "Divine Spirit-filled" understanding, don't think that they "deserve", because we all know rich people are rich because they deserve to be rich and poor people are poor because they deserve to be poor.

3. They got a federal tax cut under Obama. But obviously they don't let facts
get in the way of latent racism.

5. I might go and watch the local teabagger party tonight.
This whole thing has epic fail written all over it.

Obama won in a landslide and 2010 will be another ass kicking for the right.

4. This Isn't A Protest, It's A Tantrum
The rushpublicans are like a group of 3 year olds. They want candy and can't have it...thus the tantrum begins...and soon the screaming is amped up, but the kid no longer knows why, but they need to prove a point.

Yep...this is yet another stage of GOOP denial...another gravity defying stunt in their parallel universe where they didn't lose elections, either they were "stolen" or that it was the candidate's fault. It's trying to crank up the Mighty Wurlitzer one more time...the astroturf machine that marched us into wars for profit and "deregulation" that strangled the economy.

Also, this is a vainglorious attempt to keep what's left of the imploding GOOP relevant. There's little these people are for, thus the only thing that unites them is fear and hate. This is an orgy of self delusion and self flagilation that is more about making noise than about making sense.

6. The republican party used to have some very smart & good people in it.
I might not have liked all their politics but they were solid people ...... the party now
is whack jobs, global warming deniers, big biz backers, self hating closet cases,
and fundy types who are worried about gay abortion doctors.

These teabaggers are the death rattle of the republican party as far as being a national
party.

11. More Irony
If it was needed is to see how oblivious many of the teabaggers are to the laugh so many of us are having. This is a desperate party in dire need of creating distractions and spectacles in place of any ideas or positive solutions. It's reinforcing their big lies that are all they have left to "believe" in.

Cheers...

8. They're racist fools. Robots controlled by their own hatred.
Edited on Wed Apr-15-09 08:12 AM by screembloodymurder
Unable to think themselves, they have become the victims of a propaganda campaign designed to exploit their bigotry. Like the Gangs of NY, they are not able to act in their own enlightened, self-interest, because they cannot see past their own hatred to recognize the real (and common) enemy. Wake up idiots! You're fighting for the rich overlords.
