33. I didn't know how to spell it in English until I looked it up: "cesva" or "ibrik"
Edited on Wed Apr-15-09 09:57 AM by YOY
You pronounce the first one like Jezvair though...or so I thought. I can spell it just fine in the language of Turkey's NW neighbors.

Shit should be illegal it's so good but a little harsh on the stomache if you're not used to it!

Hot! Not the like warn stuff made by our home coffeemakers.
Almost any brand except the flavored ones. I like them all but have to nuke the mug for at least a minute in my old 700 watt microwave to make it hot enough to enjoy.

..... I like mild to medium roasts generally. Whole Foods' Guatemala Antigua, Illy, Dallmayr Ethiopian Crown, Cafe Malongo and Lavazza are my favorites. I like it automatic-drip brewed, with a generous amount of CoffeeMate creamer and organic cane sugar.
Darker roasts I prefer as lattes. I'm generally not a fan of chains, but the Peet's stores on the west coast aren't bad. When it comes to darker roasts, anything imported and Italian will usually work. :)

It's easy, you have all the control you want over what your coffee will be like, and there is no way to beat the freshness!

46. LOL. That could have said "I like my coffee like I like my ex-wife".
Too funny.

When I DID drink coffee, which was only for a short time, I drank it like you do. I always described it as "liking my coffee like I like my women: Hot, Light, and Sweet".

37. If the beans are inferior, I prefer them dark roasted, lots of 1/2 and 1/2.
If they are high quality, a medium roast, with a tbsp. or 2 or 1/2 and 1/2. Organic is best, but not essential.

39. made with this
I heard about this coffee press here on DU--it really is good:

http://www.amazon.com/AeroPress-Coffee-and-Espresso-Maker/dp/B000GXZ2GS/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1239808555&sr=8-2

You can make several cups' worth of concentrate ahead of time--not that it's hard to do one cup at a time, but making a lot at once saves a few pennies on the filters. I use a big thick Pyrex measuring cup for making concentrate to store--I specify thick because you do have to press pretty hard. I wouldn't use this on a dainty little tea cup, for sure.

Highly recommended!
