Please enlighten me - what ARE the teabaggers protesting?
Are they protesting the eight years of Buch/Cheney tax policy that resulted in a $770 billion bailout for financial institutions? Or are they protesting Obama trying to make it easier for delinquent mortgage payers to get back in good standing without cutting back on food for the kids?

Either way, this song ought to make some teabaggers' heads explode:

5. "And I want a new car!"
"Something that goes really fast and gets really shitty gas mileage!"

Which brings us the 6000 SUX, courtesy of the Chiodo Brothers - whom, if I'm not mistaken, are also responsible for all those puppets in Team America: World Police.

10. I think you're on to something
Remember "Dan's Bake Sale" in Fort Collins, Colorado back in 1993 or 1994? Even though Rush Limbaugh promoted it, the bake sale really was centered on this one guy trying to raise money through cookie sales. That was a true conservative grassroots event, even if it did have some media assistance.

This whole "Tea Party" nonsense just reaches me as so much astroturf. But then again, Ron Paul's supporters may prove me wrong...

9. Whatever the RW Media Hatemongers tell them to.

Anything else is not germain. They get their instructions from the RW Media Hatemongers. And the RW Media Hatemongers get their instructions from the RNC and the Corporatists. They will never figure out how they have been used for years in this manner.

12. "tax increases"
Even though 98% of the country got a tax cut. There's that cognitive dissonance at work again.

I just sent this to a local TV station for a viewer comments segment they do.

Re: "Tea Parties"

I have to wonder, did these people miss the fact that 98% of the country just got a tax cut? Surely all the "teabaggers" aren't from that upper 2% that didn't get it? No, I have a feeling most of them are the crowd that lets Fox News and Rush Limbaugh do their thinking for them.

After talking with many of them, I find they all seem to have only one thing in common. They hate President Obama. Of course, that is what they are told to think by their sources of RNC-approved talking points.

If it's spending that is alarming them, I have to wonder, where were they when Bush and his cronies decided to toss a trillion dollars into a totally unnecessary war in Iraq?

19. Exactly
These people seem to think if they help the rich from being taxed more that they, themselves, will become wealthy, too. When they don't realize the rich could careless about them, but they aren't smart enough to see it. These corporate people behind this are probably just snickering at these protesters. The protesters are trying to help the rich from paying more taxes, when they, themselves (the protesters), would be the ones getting taxed more because of it.

14. Irrelevance
They're overgrown children throwing temper tantrums because it's been too many years since someone has told them "no."

It's just another top-down muscle flexing by the Mighty Wurlitzer of right wing propaganda. It's historically inaccurate and totally inappropriate as well as providing a lot of unintentional humor from people too witless to realize why we're all laughing at the "teabagging" on their posters.

Just sit back and enjoy the show, whatever it is and however long it lasts.

15. Government Spending...
like on the Military. Or Education. Or on Healthcare.

Don't know where these idiots have been for the last eight years of runaway spending and spiraling deficit. WTF.

And apparently they are mad that their taxes went down.
