I guess they're perfectly okay with spending trillions to kill people in foreign countries. But a Democrat coming along to spend money to help stimulate our economy, to try and put Americans back to work - that's unacceptable?

2. Thanking God for guiding Bush to that war

This is not about money. It's about hate, pure and simple. Someone finally found a way of channeling it for a day.

This type of propaganda is as old as the hills. Whip up people's hatred and you can get them to do anything. Anything, no matter how vile.

8. Can't get their sorry lazy asses up to pick up all the trash they
throw out their car and truck windows or stop to pick up the tattered flags that fall off their Humvees, but they can manage to muster enough gumption to go do a lousy sorry replica of a protest.

They suck at it too!

6. Watching Ted Nugent
on the Glenn Beck show right now, and musing how, in another context, his all-white audience would be screaming "FILTHY HIPPIE!" at him - just for how he looks.

Politics sure does make interesting bedfellows.

He played the Star Spangled Banner, badly. An attempted rip-off of Hendrix.

Big fail.....................

7. Makes you wonder how much the (R) and (D) mean to people
Since the Republican oversaw the greatest expansion of government in modern day history while they sat idly by.

10. At pro-war rallies.
Where else?

The teabaggers are, of course, filthy hypocrites when it comes to who got our country into this mess.

11. Because...
They weren't there because they were too busy saying.."How dare you attack our great President George W. Bush, you dirty-lib, terrorist-coddling anti-American socialist traitor!"

William F. Buckley and an older generation of reactionaries could at least write coherently and be witty. The current bunch of reactionaries are the closest thing I've seen to psychotics in this quadrant of this poor world--they can't think, they can't remember, and they don't want to hear any different.

13. that's what I ask
every time one of them approaches me or sends me one of their vapid emails. In Oklahoma, you run into a lot of these nuts....too many actually, but I always ask the exact question you just posed. They generally don't have any kind of an answer.

16. That is a good point. Except the rich had tax cuts then. And this is what the teabag parties are
really about. So that explains it.
