This has to be the dumbest sign at a teabaggers party.

I mean, this is an admission that Republicans are allowing taxpayers to pay their mortgages, is it not?

Wouldn't you think that Republicans would ask:

Honk if I'M paying YOUR mortgage?

12. Weren't they switching that around?
And this blog suggests it may have been intentional.

They think you shouldn't be able to vote unless you pay taxes.

They pay sales taxes when they buy their food just the same as you or I do.

22. I think the dumbest sign is the sign that you're sending to Americans
that you think it's cool to piss away other people's money on stupid shit to the tune of trillions of dollars and that you speak for the Democratic party. I'm a Democrat and I'm fucking furious over the manner in which my money is being spent by this administration. We were supposed to be the responsible ones, the adults. Does that ring a bell? We clearly aren't. We're spending money like spoiled drunken teenagers with limitless credit cards. We are no better than the previous administration with regards to deficit spending. I was furious with Bush over this, why the hell shouldn't I be furious with Obama for it? Because he's Obama? Because I'm a good Democrat who falls in line like a good Republican? Fuck that, he's accountable now.

43. Am I wrong in assuming you realize that the bush policies don't magically
simply...stop, when Pres Obama was sworn in? That it takes time for what he put in place to wind down? That Repubs in Congress are still continuing his policies?

Am I wrong in assuming that?

Senate Majority Leader Lisa Brown, D-Spokane, is among those who have spoken about a need for higher taxes, and she said the rally does not change the situation. But she said she respects the right and ability of protesters to organize and tell their story at the Capitol.

"My reaction is that at the federal level, what my mom would say is, it's like closing the barn door after the horse is already out," Brown said of the federal-debt concerns. "In other words, I think that the Bush administration dramatically expanded our national debt and created the conditions for these bailouts. I think they are laying blame in the wrong places, blaming the Obama administration for the fiscal mess the country is in right now."

28. Just popping in after worshiping at Regan's grave?
We need to spend wisely but clearly we need to be investing in our country while we have the option instead of handwringing about deficits. The overwhelming will be there, the question is will we have actually bought anything of substance and into our people or just pissed it into the sand and the pockets of robber-barons.

36. I think the economic indicators reveal the answer to that question.
Foreclosures are still at record highs. Unemployment still at record highs. GDP shrinking precipitously. Retail sales down. And the administration is creating massive debt to fix a problem caused by massive debt. That's not change. that's more of the same. We are, for all intents and purposes, at the point now where we can't even make interest payments on the debt without creating more debt. That makes us slaves to bankers. That's what's going on. That's what people are angry about. They're figuring it out finally. Good for them.

35. So those two invasions should be over with a snap of the fingers?
Ocean liners should turn on a dime. Skyscrapers should be erected in minutes or hours, not months. Travel between New York and Los Angeles should take 30 minutes, tops. And the airlines should offer door-to-door service instead of making everyone go to crowded airports.

I'm just trying to get this all down, so I know what else to blame the Obama administration for. Any I've missed?

8. Same here

And I've seen a few for which it seems, at least to me, impossible to tell whether they're held by right-wing loonies or by more reasonable people who're taking the Mickey out of them. It's a sad state when the morons participating in these events are so mired in self-parody and oblivious irony that their efforts are distinguishable from actual parody; basically akin to how a good and increasing proportion of news headlines and stories these past few years read exactly like something that The Onion would run.
