Millions Attend Tea-bagging Events Across the Country
Teabagging was a hugh suckcess. The librul media didn't tell you 1-5 million attended:

People were compiling estimates on Kristinn’s thread last night... There is NO WAY it’s only 250,000... Try more like SEVERAL MILLION when all is said and done. There were MANY UNADVERTISED tea parties — including one in my own small “city” I didn’t even know about till it was underway that drew at least several hundred people...

"There is NO WAY it’s only 250,000..."
And they KNOW THAT - so, they do what they always do - LIE. They have to twist all truth out of anything threatening.

The actual number of people that attended demonstrations nation-wide is obviously well above two million. In fact, there is a good chance that final tallies will place the figure between three and four million. Initial figures ran close to five million, but averaging brought that figure down as expected.

“I’d say there were 250,000 at the 20-25 largest events and who knows how many more at the hundreds of smaller events across the country???”

Absolutely.

I’m sure the MSM, on orders from its parent owner, the DNC, will deem the Tea Party effort little more than an amusing but futile GOP effort to win over lost voters. They will stay with the 250,000 figure regardless of the actual facts on the ground. (minimally 1,000,000)

My attempt to tally indicates over 1000 rallies with over 1000 each on average - that's 1,000,000 participants minimum. The apparent standard deviation could swing that up to 4M.

Exactly. I think there were atleast 1 million. It is so grassroots, it is hard to get a number. There was no central planner to report the numbers back to.

==========================================================================

I estimate atleast 20,000 at the largest events in Kansas, a low population center. If you take that alone and extrapolate it to 50 states, you get 1 million attendees and you have to consider more populated states would have many more attend.

sorry, it was under 300,000 even with fux news shamelessly whoring the event for weeks. And it will soon be forgotten and won't accomplish whatever fucked up hateful crap the idiots participating are whining for.

suck on it or choke on it.

15. These TEABAGGERS do realize that the Patriot Act has NEVER been repealed don't they?
And they were so thankful to be photographed every chance they got. Oh and the best part, now the IRS and FBI have their photograph, who they associate with, what threats they spew, and their identities when they went back to their vehicles and then home...

The lunatics didn't bother to notice the surveillance following them as they left.

Sorry freepturds, there is no difference between international terrorists and domestic terrorists in the Patriot Act, and you all just put yourselves at the top of the "Watch List." You have a little time before they start the FEMA round-ups, but once they come for you, your TEABAGGING acts are over. Enjoy the FEMA camps!

with whether or not the "main stream media" would cover these oh-so-spontaneous grass roots protests.

Gretchen Carlson said, "It's going to be so big, they might not have any choice but to cover it."

I can't figure out if they think they aren't one of the "main stream media". You know, that somehow, in that head of hers, being number one in the ratings means you're just a bunch of underground renegades upstarts. Or if that red herring was their excuse for 24 hour coverage. (If not us, who? If not now, when?)

Edited on Thu Apr-16-09 07:26 PM by That Is Quite Enough
What a bunch of pathetic UNPATRIOTIC motherfuckers. They lost because their boy king and his supporting psychopathocracy (which has been operating for the past several decades, at least) fucked up this country beyond all recognition and now they suddenly 'wake up' and decide to play revolutionaries because they didn't get their way and the mostly sane majority of the country decided to toss their corrupt asses out of power.

The teabaggers in this country, as well as all their tough-shit uber-macho keyboard kommando brothers and sisters can whine and pretend to be the heroic resistance while the totally evil overlord Barack Hussein Obama (suck on that, troglodytes!) carries out his evil NWO agenda. What's great about America is that they're free to do that. For now, at least, until somebody finally decides that they've crossed the line for once and all. I can't wait to see the day when shit-talkers, fearmongers and propaganda generators like Glenn Beck and his ilk are called out on their treasonous prevaricating.

Don't like America? Go to Somalia, you wastes of life. I hear they don't have much in the way of taxes or 'big' government there.

I just hope these crybaby dittohead losers realize that this armed revolution wet dream of theirs is gonna be a lot harder than they realize. They keep repeating 'We have to take America back!" while they foam like motherfucking rabid dogs. Take it back from who? From the majority of Americans that were fed up with their Republican maladministration and their Congressional enablers?

Fuck you, republicans. Fuck you, teabaggers. Fuck you, secessionists. You aren't patriots. You're a bunch of whiny, treasonous motherfuckers who are advocating ARMED REVOLUTION or SECESSION (which you're too fucking cowardly to actually try) because suddenly 'your guys' are out of power.

Sorry. Rant over. These dumbasses kinda piss me off, sometimes.

35. I love this one "The apparent standard deviation" multiplies the high estimate attempt by 4
Must be that high. Good grief

1000 rallies (estimated or real?) with over 1000 each on average (estimated or real?) - that's 1,000,000 participants minimum. The apparent standard deviation could swing that up to 4M (good, multiply 1 random number by another, then multiply by 4!)
