So, the local Glen Beck wannabe is running free ads against me

He has a show on a local cable channel (subsidized by the city, via cable franchise fees). Every week, he is running a crude but vicious litany, accusing me of everything but killing the Lindbergh Baby and being the gunman on the grassy knoll.

Basically, this guy is using taxpayer subsidized equipment to produce an attack ad which then runs on a taxpayer subsidized television station. All of this takes place without anyone filing a campaign spending report with the city or the state.

I contacted the cable access director sniveled and played the free speech card, even though that is utterly irrelevant to this issue. He also tried to lecture me (an attorney) about Constitutional law.

Time to file a complaint with the attorney general. if these douchebags want to spread shit, they can do it on their own damn dime.

That's not how he operates. This guy found a mentally ill guy and manipulated him into filing bogus complaints with the state supreme court (which quicky tossed them out). Anything you say in response only feeds the beast and gets distorted and manipulated. It's best not to respond like that.
