4. Perry put the far right media in a bind

They want to applaud extreme cases like him, but they also want to be the super
Rah Rah American patriots, too. Since leaving rhe United States is not exactly
synonymous with their contrived patriotism, it has to be difficult for their
script writers to reconcile secessionist talk with love for the USA.

I'm just waiting to hear that Hannity will explain it away by saying that
Perry didn't really promote "secession," but "jam session," and was talking
about a blues session at Austin City Limits, but was taken out of context.

It's a stretch, I know, but with Fox, it's not like it would be the first time.
