They are all concentrated on their one channel, while we are spread out over a variety of media sources, including FNC. (I even peeked in myself to see how their silly tea parties were going. They were getting rained on.)

As the other poster states, methinks the surge on Faux is by gawkers...be them Democrats or unaffiliated people tuning into to watch this circus...and no question, Faux will benefit from it. But that was why they got on board.

The wingnuts are doing backflips over how "successful" their tea bagging was. In the sphere of astroturfing and manufacturing "news", it was. It created buzz, both positive and negative...and thus Faux benefitted as they drew eyeballs and ratings...something they desperately need as advertising revenues continue to vanish.

This is yet another attempt to energize the "Mighty Wurlitzer"...the once dominant GOOP message machine that dominated the corporate media and the political world. It created "outrage" about Hillarycare to Monoica to 9/11=Iraq to Kerry's Swift Boating...but has been misfiring as of late. It was a pitiful display overall as the rushpublicans attempt to make up ground on a well organized Democratic party and a popular President in trying to get attention. Instead of it being a show of protest, it looked more like an old white person's tantrum.
