That might turn out to be a very good thing.

And Carl Rove is from Texas. Will he go, too.

I'm starting to really like that idea.

1. The effect on the future is even more important than the past.
Who cares about Bush and Rove when the loss of Texas -- and its 34 electoral votes -- ensures a permanent Democratic rule of the executive branch?

That said, I find the whole idea to be academic. Texas is not going to secede, and people like Chuck Norris and Gov. Perry are full of hot air.

4. Fun to consider: Look on Gov Good Hair's face when he finds out
Chuck Norris CAN'T protect Texas from every threat like he can in the movies

If Texas had to raise an army to do it's own defense, that would be amusing too. TANG might not be as much fun for the next generation.

2. Please, please, please
somebody take GWB away.....leave Texas. I enjoyed the 6 months I was stationed in San Antonio for training many years ago. The Alamo, watching the Spurs play, the Riverwalk....Enjoyed Austin too.

3. Dallas may not be San Antonio
But that does not mean we are please to have W in our midst. We are hoping mightily that he spends
his time out in Crawford (and keeps walking), and leaves us alone. Dallas traffic is bad enough
without his SS entourage clogging up Preston whenever he or Laura decide to raid Highland Park
Village shops. I'm rarely States any more anyhow, but when I visit home, I prefer it Bush-free.

5. Sorry to disappoint you but WE aren't going anywhere
Isn't it so wonderful that no other states have rethugicons in them?.?.? Only Texas has them apparently, no Democrats in the state what so ever.

And Karl didn't come back here.

6. I don't think you would ever hear Missourians say they want to secede.
Course there are so many Republicans here that they don't need to go anywhere. They are perfectly comfortable here at home.
