1. I seriously doubt it
he knows he is above the law. No one is going to touch him, bank on it!

10. Sorry I've Singled You Out - But Looking At The Replies To This Thread.....
it appears that the betting money is on Bush not being touched by this and as you say - he will never be held accountable. I'm curious as to why many people here think that way? Why is a U.S. President that committed war crimes untouchable? Why should he or for that matter any president be?

17. Lack of will for vested interests to sabotage the hallowed institutions they're beholden to
And lack of sufficient public outcry for accountability.

4. He's laughing all the way to the golf course
Junior knows he is untouchable. And to our everlasting shame, we know it, too.

5. He slept like a baby
There was and is ZERO chance anything will ever happen to a former president of the U.S.A.

You have a better chance of winning the lottery than of seeing any senior member of the Bush admin face a court.

6. More likely smirking than squirming,
knowing he won't be held accountable.

9. As fitfully as McNamara, Rusk, Rostow, Laird, Westmoreland, and all the other criminals. . .
of an earlier age did for the balance of their days. Ask Kissinger how he sleeps nights. A little dyspepsia from foods too rich for his palate, perhaps, or sore bones caused by bearing the weight of wealth absconded through deeds too foul for absolution, too black for prosecution.

Better to ask, How well do we sleep? It's a collective enterprise we're about, with guilt enough for all, and not even the sick, feeble or infirm shall escape the enveloping retribution.

11. If there were a scintilla of discomfort, which I highly doubt, it....
would only be because it will make a) raising money for his Presidential Library even harder and b) the work to "restore" his 'legacy' even more unlikely.

12. Sorry, I was thinking more along the lines of his place in history
not necessarily any conviction of himself.

Look what MSNBC had at the top of their screen last night during the Olbermann segment

BUSH TORTURE TECHNIQUES
