North Carolina: Polling Update

The good news is that Sen. Burr's reelection is in serious, serious trouble.

Earlier this week, Public Policy Polling showed Burr already losing a race against one leading potential Democratic challenger, current Attorney General Roy Cooper.

Burr's approval ratings in this poll - 35% - were called dismal for a sitting senator. This is far worse than the level former Republican Senator Elizabeth Dole was polling at this point two years ago. And Kay Hagan beat her by more than eight points!

North Carolina could be a huge opportunity for us next year, but only if the DSCC can do everything in our power to build a winning campaign infrastructure now. We have always relied upon your support to do just that.
