2. Ah, but your quotes pale in comparison with this one:
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman."

:sarcasm:

3. But the Bush Administration didn't "torture"...
Edited on Sat Apr-18-09 05:34 AM by CoffeeCat
The Bush Administration, in cahoots with AG Gonzales and other BushCo attorneys made traditional
torture legal in this country. They rewrote the laws and what the definition of torture is in this
country.

These criminals defined torture as any interrogation technique "that didn't kill or cause organ failure".

They protected themselves further with these newly written parameters surrounding the legal definition
of torture--by legalizing virtually any interrogation technique. According to BushCo policy, if an
interrogator does hurt or cause psychological or physical injury to a detainee--if that interrogator
did the harm in an effort to extract information, then that interrogator was not torturing. Technically,
they were trying to extract information. Not torturing.

So, if you torture, but do it for the purposes of getting information--it can't be seen as torture when
you were only trying to extract information.

When Bush repeatedly said, "We do not torture" he was correct because the administration redefined what
"torture" meant.

According to U.S. law--that was crafted during the Bush Administration--"We do not torture" was legally accurate.

Sick...is it not?

4. He Still Believes It...He's Jack Bauer...
I'll bet this shitbag walks around and tells anyone who listens (I doubt even Barney takes him seriously) about how he was "saving this country" by destroying it. In his self-centered world, he was invinsible...and, just like Nixon, he was above the law cause he was "saving the country". It's that Jack Bauer/24 mentality...mixed with narcasism...and in his warped brainstem, we didn't torture...it was just trying to get "useful information".

Nothing would be more fitting than to see that speech played in front of the world at the opening of war crimes trials....
