Gov Goodhair asks for fed aid in TX wildfire..and in the next breath complains about the feds

He really wants the feds to stop taking his calls, doesn't he??
If my area is ever hit by a disaster...please, please, don't let goodhair come by and "tour" the area.

Perry toured Montague County to see some of the damage done by wildfires in 12 counties last week. In all, the fires burned about 155,000 acres, destroying 94 homes and killing three, according to state officials.

Perry is asking President Barack Obama to declare Montague, Callahan, Clay, Jack, Wichita and Young counties major disaster areas, which would allow affected individuals to get help with housing, legal services, unemployment, small-business loans and other services.

He said that state officials are quick to respond to crises but that the bureaucracy of the federal government often slows down aid.

"Bailing out Wall Street, giving out billions to corporate interest is not particularly helping folks out here," he said.
