Teabags for bigots?
Maybe. But maybe it's akin to the riots after a soccer match. Why on god's green earth would someone destroy something just because their team lost? Well, consider the fan, in this case, a white dude with enough extra rage that he only hears BeckLimbaughHannity. He's been lovingly trained to hate. He didn't know how to hate properly until hate radio gave him free instructions. He learned how to ignore the plight of anyone but himself. And he was told to direct his hate toward minorities, homos, liberal elitist, Islamic fundamentalists, environmentalists, Hugo, France, PETA, ACLU, ACORN, Chicago, Berkeley, Madison, Oregon, etc.

He will not give up his hate. He doesn't even know how to not hate.

1. Granted that I saw very
little of the tea bag event, but what I did see, didn't show me any racism. Did I miss something?

2. Seriously, this was a hate Obama fest.
How many blacks did you see at these "tea parties"? Of course the word "nigger" is verboten, but it doesn't take a genius to understand that many of these people are descendants of the same people who were against the integration of the South a generation ago. They weren't protesting taxes...Obama has delivered on his promise to give the middle-class a significant tax cut....so what were they really protesting? A Black Democrat elected POTUS.

4. Perhaps
But I think it was more of a generalized hatefest.

5. It may have been
a hate Obama fest, but how does that make it racist?

11. Did you conduct a census
of the tea baggers and compare them to the US census? I think the baggers are pissed about the huge deficits.

12. Oh crap...I thought this was an opinion board.
Sorry.

BTW, where were these people when Bush was running up the deficits and deregulating the government? Oh yeah...they couldn't care less. Put a Black Democrat in charge...the world is going to end. They are hypocrites of the 1st order...why would anyone try to apologize for them?

When you can't win the argument, best to insult and exit.

3. Not at all
There were many at du who posted that the teabagers were mostly people who were upset with a black pres. I'm seeing it as people who cannot gracefully lose at all. I did bring up that they have been programmed to hate. But not specifically blacks.
