7. This is so true. Those neocons who think deregulation is the be all and end all

don't think about how horrid it is to do business in places without strict regulation for fairness. In many countries like Somalia you cannot do business without greasing somebody's palms. It is the opposite of what the GOPers-neocons say. More regulation (the law and order system within the USA) make for a better business model.

that this cartoon is kind of stupid and really makes a cheap and unfair caricature of the opposition. Why don't they just make a cartoon that compares liberals to Nazis since we apparently love taxes, government, and regulations and hate guns, all of which were hallmarks of Nazi Germany? I think we would all rightly condemn such a cartoon as absurd and we shouldn't do something this crass and childish to them either. I don't argue that the conservative/neocons are wrong, just that we need to have a little more intellectual honesty than this cartoon shows.

Sure, not all of "the opposition" is like the guy caricatured in the cartoon. But Friday I parked near a car sporting all of the following bumper stickers: updside-down American flag, "Show me the birth certificate!" something rather long and tortured about "No "hope" in socialism (festooned with riffs on the Obama campaign logo and the hammer and sickle), and the lone clever one, "I'll keep my money, my guns and my freedom - you keep the change!" (misguided, but nice wordplay at least)

I see nothing the least bit "stupid," "cheap" or "unfair" about this cartoon taken as addressed to the driver of this other car I just described. They pretty much ask for it with their selective ignorance and deliberate intellectual dishonesty - which dwarfs any specs thereof you might find in this "Somalia" cartoon.

Of course the bankers will need to corrupt the masked guys to kill off the independent minded terrorists trying to put food on their families and instead get them to put the universal boot heel to the neck of any opposition of the law and order society of nations that only torture when we think it will be hidden from the history books, but that is a small price to pay for bringing these people into the fold, now isn't it?
