How on earth could they ever want to protest the day our country declared independence? We wouldn't even be a country without what happened on the Fourth of July.

What I would say is joking or not, don't give the idiots any ideas. I am sure the "purists" on the fa right would love to try and claim the 4th as something exclusive to only their ilk. They were afraid of the Ron Paul people protesting the bailouts because they know that the American people are 100% against the bailouts. They said themselves that their calls were 100% against the bailouts, but they did it anyway.

So the movement was co-opted to make them look stupid, and then they pushed this whole divide and conquer tactic on the Democrats...DU is the perfect example of how well their plan worked.
