Anyone see the face on Schmerconish when Conason brought up other things Bush did to detainees?

They were both on Tweety and Schmerconish was downplaying the torture Bush was doing. When Conason started listing the other stuff that had been done including murder Schmerconish's eyes got as big as dinner plates.

The truth is going to come out and the American people are going to have to deal with it. And the wing nuts know its coming.

I am convinced of that.

2. Thom Hartmann had Richard Perle on today.

You could hear him squirm around trying to argue that no one should be prosecuted. Hartmann brought up Nuremberg, Perle said that wasn't at all the same. Hartmann pushed him on whether a POTUS calling something legal, makes it immune to prosecution, Perle fell silent. He had nothing.

way with which Conason laid out the case was a striking contrast to the schmerky schmerconish.

5. Why is that guy on Hardball every other day?

He's a radio talk show host in Philadelphia who knows shit about things - Conason just embarrassed the hell out of him - the dumb fuck had absolutely NO retort.

So why is he always on?

These "regulars," like Buchanan and Gaffney and Smerconish, are so fucking out-dated. Why doesn't someone just pull them? They have nothing new to add to the discussion.

Time to retire them ....................

6. I found Schmerconish intelligent and well read when he got that week on

Imus's TV show. The guy can think and seems to be a real human being. He seems to put intelligence ahead of sensationalizing. Too bad he can't make it over the line to our side. The networks won't want him: He'll out them, if given half a chance. The guy can put 2 and 2 together.
