Don't blame the republican wackos... ("Ayúdeme! Trabajará barato. Contráteme")

they are saying the same ole shit they have always been saying.. The volume is higher, as is the tamtrum-y little-girl shrieky-ness...

BUT...

why do we even KNOW what they are saying and why they are saying it?

BECAUSE our media & press seeks them out.

Obama says "..........................................." and immediately, speed-dials start going bonkers to see what (insert any right wingnut's name here) has to say about THAT!!!...

Obama shakes (insert any world famous person's name here) hand, and of course a right winger simply MUST have something to say about it..

All the righties are enjoying the hell out of their newly rediscovered popularity.. They got airtime during the *² tenure, but it was not as much fun then because they had to follow a script that Rove wrote for them

It's as if a program has been started.. Let's just call it "Wingnut Totally Fun" employment act".. aka WTF

They are free...freeee..freeee ... Free to spout any nonsense they can think up., the more outrageous, the better, because there is no one driving the bus, so to speak. There is no strong leader of their party, trying to herd them into neatly arranged groups..no daily scripts. Some of their group-speak is hardwired into their sad little brains, but many days, they are all over the place.

That being said, there is ONE place they all seem to be, that really annoys me to no end..and that one place is in front af a tv camera.
The campaign is over.. they LOST.

The media needs to "get over it".."move ahead"..look forward".. They truly loved the campaign, and I know they are trying desperately to keep it going..as if something NewtiePatootie has to day wil somehow change the outcome of the election...but it won't.

Obama is president. The people liked HIS ideas..The people want him to succeed.

The people WANT him engaging foreign leaders in a polite, civilized manner. he said he would. we elected him and he's doing exactly what he said he would.

Our media has a vested interest in getting/keeping the campaign atmosphere going. If not for the joyful punditry, they might have to start "wasting" time covering the important things....like how and why we are all going broke..who broke the economy and how they did it...you know.. stuff like that..

So don't blame the guys who queue up at the stage doors of CNN-MSNBC-Fox..chomping at the bit to be picked.. I like to think of them as narrowminded, english-speaking, well-dressed Home Depot Day Laborers.. They don't sit on block walls with signs saying "Ayúdeme ! Trabajará barato. Contráteme", but they do have their hands out for a day job here and there.. Their signs might read.."Will Trash Popular President for Cold Hard Cash !"

2. Yup, that's it. They're lost, leaderless and afraid

So their nuttiest members take control. If you can call it "control".

Their "message" is all over the map, sometimes contradictory, sometimes sheer madness.

I think the "movement" should be given 24/7 coverage, for education purposes alone.
