How "independent" is Eric Holder, the Atty-General?
Does he believe in the rule of law strongly enough to challenge the popular President of the United States? Or is it, as others have suggested, a good cop- bad cop situation?

Does Atty-General Holder believe that the law is superior to any political Party or political figure? What will he decide about the torture memos? Will he procede with an investigation? My bet is that he will.

1. I'm not sure how fond he is of the rule of law. About as much as the average Politician in D.C. ...

But I don't think he is the guy to challenge the President. If so, he sure has come a long way.

Remember Uncle Mark? Not that Holder is responsible for it but he could have prevented the pardon if my memory serves me right.

From the hearing on the decision:
