"Be VERY afraid! ... and get NewsMax!"
I just saw the commercial. It used to be 'sex sells', now it's 'fear sells'.

How low can they go?

'Terrorists could strike at any time! Get this emergency radio and trial subscription for just the shipping cost.'

Any one else see this?

1. I just saw it too. On MSNBC.
 What a joke.

There are lots of little hidden propaganda tidbits in the ad.

2. Yep that commercial is stupid.
Don't forget that a wind up radio, some duct tape, plastic sheets and a subscription to "News Max" will save your life if the terrorists attack. Be afraid! Be very afraid!

3. Place I work somehow got a free subscription to NewsMax
I remove them from the waiting room as soon as they show up. Censorship? Yes. It is a private business and I don't have to have RW fearmongering bs out there.

4. Yup. Saw that commercial in the last couple of days. Disgusting.
Profit from fear ... a prototypical right-wing tactic.

6. As stated in an above post; propaganda.

5. The one with the FREE Chinese radio?
NEWSLAX - Warning you of incoming 'nuclar terrist' attacks.

I just thought it was because they are getting desperate for people to listen to them, so they are targeting older voters to scare.
