When the fuck did talking head media types reacting to each other become normally acceptable?

Like, when KO ragged on O'Rielly, that was cool cause it was kind of limited and frankly, O'reilly was on path to destroy the nation even further. But do I really need "Cenk" to go ahead and tell me his thoughts on a douchebag like Glen Beck? And do I really need Glen Beck to begin with? Methinks not. Have we really gotten to the point where these assholes have become those who dictate policy rather than challenge those who create it? And do we really want to legitimize their egos by encouraging it?

And do I really want to keep talking in questioning form? The answer to all is, "no!"

4. This happened because we have several media conglomerates all doing 24 hour news.

There are only so many things that actually happen. As a result we have these channels covering a) small shit that nobody cares about and b) coverage of the coverage. Both of these are cheap ways to fill time.

I actually like Cenk covering guys like Beck though. Beck and his ilk are threats to freedom and deserve scrutiny.
