Whether we like it or not, there are Democrats in Washington that are complicit in all of this by either direct participation in the dialog on this crap before their inception or while it was going on or by their actions of of doing nothing when knowing what was going on.

Whether we want to know it or not, there is not one person out there that convince me that in the incestuous cesspool of Washington politics, that many, many Democrats did not knew exactly what has been going on the past eight years.

In all their cocktail parties and other old boy networks, people knew and did NOTHING! NOTHING!

People like Harman and other Democrats sat on their cushy panels and committees knowing all of this shit from day one.

What these people have done is inexcusable.

4. Agreed. We need to clean house, both of them.
I don't care who is guilty, or which side they're on, we need people who will do what they're supposed to do.

For a change.

7. yep, spot on
if they're complicit in war crimes, then they should have thought of that when they were busy cheer-leading BushCo.

5. Then I want them to hit the ground so hard
they bounce.

It is not about effectiveness, or what we might have learned.
It is about what it exposes our troops to in the future.
It is about honoring our treaties.

8. I think the shit is going to hit the fan...
and accusations and counter-accusations are going to be flying everywhere. It will be a true test of my ability to deconstruct a news story, and ferret out the facts.

9. I believe those that were not directly complicit were wiretapped
as were their children, grandchildren, friends, parents.....

That incriminating garbage is being used to keep those of them w/ normal family problems in line.

10. I agree....I've suspected that the GWOT was always the excuse they
needed to declare political war on Democrats. I'll bet my last dollar that domestic, FISA-less wiretapping was going on well before 9/11 - orchestrated by Rove and Cheney (you don't really think Condi was in charge of NSA do you?)....any dirt on Democrats/Republicans could be used to leverage their agenda. Obviously, 9/11 became the event to really roll up the opposition (Patriot Act, Anthrax attacks, IWR). I'm hoping that the door into the Bush administration is opened with a special prosecutor for torture because that will lead into much, much more evidence of Constitutional crimes committed by these evil bastards.

11. Yes, at a minimun the ranking members in about four committees
were briefed. They knew or they didn't want to know. Nancy Pelosi was one of them. Every year that she resisted impeaching Bush was another year that the torture program continued.

15. Dianne Feinstein is one of them (Chair of the Intelligence Committee)

When the public first started finding out about the torture she went on the msm rounds claiming she was angry because Bush duped her. Whereas she voted for the Patriot Act in spite of what her constituents wanted. She once said that if she had voted the way her constituents wanted she would have voted against it, but that she 'knew things' that were secret so she voted for it.

Piece of Shit
