They believe the ends justify the means. And that indicates that they're missing the moral fiber which should let them know that the outcome is irrelevant when it comes to torture. Justifying this means they can justify just about anything.

I'm listening to a truly despicable and outrageous creep named Mark Thiessen lying his putrid ass off on WJ. If you're listening to this, you're as disgusted as I am.

His name is Mark Thiessen. He's now a Senior Fellow at the Hoover institute. He's an ex-bushco employee.

He's claiming that what was used wasn't torture and if these techniques weren't used, hundreds of attacks would have taken place and thousands would have died.

I'm fuming.

1. Expect This Tactic To Be Disseminated on the MSM
They've already alluded to the fact that an attack on LA was thwarted as a result of torture.

These monsters need to be stopped.

2. Zubaydah talked right up to his torture. And then he clammed up.
Legal techniques got good information. Torture got false confessions.

I posted a thread yesterday on this:

3. Innocent by reason of productive torture is evidence of depravity
That Cheney actually states this defense in public is a clear indication the guy should be kept in a padded room in an undisclosed location.

That the media accept it suggests that as a nation we are really and truly lost very deep in the woods.

5. The other torture of Iraqi boys in custody and heinous, depraved...
abuse needs to come to light for the public.

Too many people see waterboarding as "no big deal," especially when shown along with some of the Al-Qaeda leaders' faces.

They need to know that this leads one down a dark hole of depravity and inhumanity, including sodomizing young boys.

Let's see them justify that.

Come on Sy Hersh, I'm anxiously awaiting your input on the latest. :)
