Who Does Dick Cheney Think He Is?

By Craig Crawford | April 22, 2009 12:00 AM

If a vice president is worth no more than a warm bucket of piss, as one who occupied the office once called it, how much is a former vice president worth?

And yet Dick Cheney now presumes the power to make demands?

"I have now formally asked CIA to declassify those memos" showing the results of enhanced interrogation of suspected terrorists, Cheney told Fox News.

Short of filing a request pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, how does any private citizen "formally" request anything of a federal agency?

3. Who? A man on the run. He is making all these anti-Obama messages
so that when he is prosecuted, he can claim he is being persecuted. Then Murdock, Ailes, Hannity, O'Reilly and Limbaugh can scream from the roof top.

Smart move.

9. The Intimidation Factor...
Once a thug always a thug. Crashcart always considered himself "special"...and has been able to bully anyone who dares to question him. I'm sure when you're in this guy's presence, he knows all the tricks that will turn any "journalist" into a bowl of jello...and the beltway stenographers into willing note takers.

To use Stephen Colbert's description...this guy has "Rhino Balls"...getting right into your face and daring you to blink. Almost all do. For all of his career...from government to "private" industry he's always been "special" and still feels that way. Sadly, so do many who were so intimidated by him, not just over the past 8 years, but their entire careers.

I'd agree that Cheney's "special," kinda the way Ed Gein and Ted Bundy were "special." nt

14. They All Had Their "Charm"
Not sure who Ed Gein is, but Bundy was a charmer...literally talked the pants of his victims. Cheeeney is the anti-Bundy...he came at you like gangbusters. You see it in every interview he does...he commands it as well as staring down the talking head. The Plame case was textbook of his game at play.

18. Ed Gein was a psycho necrophiliac. I was equating Cheney to psychos, but you make a good point:
Cheney's never had Bundy's charm.

13. No more brow beating (and maybe even worse) threats
from him. He's done. Let him go around and do his schtick on the media. We've heard from him more in the past week than in eight years of office.

I can't wait to see him when he appears in court. This may be this generation's Watergate.

He was born a bully and he'll die a bully.

I despise him with every fiber of my being.

That's what I thought when I heard his latest comments.

Maybe his "leave behinds" have some specially prepared memos they can release for him.
