Yes Virginia, 'depraved' is the correct word to describe Cheney and his band of torturers

For years there have been debates about why we shouldn't be calling members of the Cheney administration batshit crazy nazi's.

While that language was colorful and perhaps a bit hyperbolic, recent releases of government documents, as well as words right out of Cheney's mouth suggest the DU tin-foilers were not far from being correct.

It is now exceeding clear that Cheney is a textbook example of the depraved. Definition of depraved: deviating from what is considered moral or right or proper or good; "depraved criminals"; "a perverted sense of loyalty"

You can use it in sentences like this:

It is a depraved individual, like Richard Cheney, who adopts the torture methods of his totalitarian Communist Chinese enemy and uses those methods in defense of liberty and in the pursuit of justice.
