Question Of The Day For Torture Apologists: If Torture Is Really No Big Deal , And
Leads To 'High-Value' Info, Then It Wouldn't Be Problematic If Other Countries Tortured OUR Troops?

Is that RIGHT, Noonan, Rove, and Dick?

WHY isn't this being asked of all these Bush-league criminals and their quislings parading around on my teevee??

2. This Entire Discussion Is Utterly Absurd
Giving a pass to war crimes. I never thought I'd see this day in America - particularly with Democrats in power - or at least people who call themselves Democrats.

4. It is surreal. If War Crimes are dismissed as necessary tools, our country will
never be the same again.

We are lost.

3. Support the Troops
The Support the Troops contingent of American sticker pasters are feeling their heads explode from the cognitive dissonance of this!

How can you be both "for the troops" and "for the torture" if this torture by America will insure future torture OF Americans by what ever enemy captures some of our troops?

5. That is exactly what we have here... a case of mass cognitive dissonance.
If the question were just asked, maybe once or twice on a national level, perhaps many would snap out of their stupor.

Torture is Un-American.

6. I worked with a right-wing Christian
Who was all about torture, and I pretended to go along with him, and we got into a spirited discussion about how waterboarding wasn't harsh enough, and we tried to come up with worse things we could do to prisoners. He was a little gobsmacked when I said, "I know! Let's make them wear crowns of thorns and drag logs for miles while we whip them, and then when they collapse, we can nail them to their logs! They'll talk then!"

7. Their answer is simple: Americans aren't terrorists.
It's different when we do it because we're doing it to terrorists who want to destroy us. We are good and they are evil. That's the right-wing response to this question.
