He was asking about Obama's foreign policy and Hillary defended our new President...saying (paraphrasing) that there was an election...and that means we are going to try something new after eight years of a policy that made no progress. Pence looked like he knew he'd been beaten up. :7

I noticed that the camera stayed on Pence's face for an unusually long time after his spanking.
Hillary did an absolutely outstanding job today. I'll gladly watch the whole thing again later.

4. I watched most of that hearing

I'm so proud of her. She's totally prepared, knowledgeable and more than capable of dodging the Republican zingers with dignity & grace. Pence was not the only one that was shredded. She fielded numerous questions on abortion & torture policies. She is a strong advocate for women's rights and made that point quite forcefully. I was a Hillary backer for president, and I was so sad when it was clear she wasn't going to win the nomination. That being said, I love Obama and completely support him. His best decision has been choosing former Senator Clinton as our Secretary of State. She represents our nation well.

9. Hilary clearly knows nothing about being Secretary of State!

The Secretary is supposed to hold up prop vials and issue dark pronouncements about what could be in the vial, or say that "nobody could have predicted" wholly predictable things. Sheesh! Get with the program! No wonder the poor Republican congress critters are so thoroughly baffled, bewildered and bothered.
