the White House is just that a building - the question is - who in the White House called in this memo? Who issued the order? Who was that person? Bush, Cheney, Rove ...... Who?

Don't just say the White House - tell us who the person was that issued this order.

1. He may not know. I saw the interview and it he was clearly

on the wrong side of the issue, considered 'extreme' by the pro-torture gang, so he was probably out of the loop after his memo was submitted.

But I share your frustration, I was hoping he would name some names.

He is using the "disappeared memo" thingie to cover his own ass as regards his complicity. Its a preemptive strike against investigation/prosecution.

They only time he is not lying is when he is sleeping and even then his dreams/nightmares are not factual.

5. I think this guy is a little smarter than the rest

He decided he needed it in writing that he opposed the policy, but I am confident he was right in the idst of things, just felt the need to cover his ass. He pulled some real funny business over 9-11 investigations.
