Cheney's making the case for the prosecution
Everytime the dick opens his mouth to defend torture as a policy, he admits to the crimes of the bush administration. I want him to keep talking.

1. Me too, and keep lying about those "other" memo's
that aren't going to save his ass whether torture worked or not.

3. There is a reason why he's been..
on the tube more since the inauguration, than his 8 years in office. Getting out in front of it, and managing perception is the only game in town. I have no idea what is going to happen, but it certainly isn't as black and white as many, including myself, had believed. I do think we are in unchartered waters, and the results will largely depend on Congress and whether there is public support, or public indifference. The timing of the release of the memo's and then the report is no accident.

9. "...whether there is public support, or public indifference."
And the GOP-controlled media conglomerates are desperately trying to make sure there is public indifference. From Joe Scab to the Today Show and CNN, the talking heads refer to it as "harsh methods of questioning" instead of torture. They're softening us up, trying to minimize the whole thing and quell the uproar against their GOP benefactors.

10. If ever there was a time to engage..
in a concerted effort to hound the shit out of every member of the United States Congress...this is it. I fear we will sit back and watch it happen. I've been thinking about getting the email addy and phone # for every member of Congress, finding an address with a phone area code and pre-fix, and a zip code, and letting it rip.

7. He's just adding further legitimacy
to it, giving credence to the idea that it was a)no big deal, and b) worked. He knows nothing will happen to him, or anyone else involved.

8. The Geneva Conventions...
Are NOT presidential policies, like he and his pal Rove say.

I'd like to see all of BushCo in prison, sans habeas corpus. Once their fate is sealed, then I'll worry about Obama giving up all of those powers BushCo enacted.

I'm still betting they had no idea the groundswell was going to be so huge for Obama's election. They had no clue they were going to see Obama wielding the power they stole for W. Dumbasses... I hope they all get what's coming to them.
