2. The anthrax murders remain unsolved, & 2 Dem. senators got anthrax letters
from dick of course, who called Leahy and Daschle personally and 'urged' them not to look too deeply into nine eleven.

Oops, I made a nine eleven reference....

3. If they all came forward at once...
...they could destroy these henchmen.

If Cheney, Bush I, Kissinger, Baker, PNAC brigade, et al---are blackmailing people---f'ing blackmail them back!

Get them on tape, saying, "Unless you vote for x, then I'm exposing the results of our wiretap". That way,
it could be demonstrated that this band of thugs was running the government based on threats and coercion.

Even if some elected officials did some bad things--those things would be overshadowed by a dictatorial group
of thugs who derailed our democracy.

The people would revolt. They would prosecute.

Geez, don't these elected officials realize that they have the upper hand? The blackmailers are committing history-book-level crimes.

Is it really worth it---allowing someone to hold our entire democracy hostage, because they have pictures of you with a hooker?

6. Ah, but there you have it: "if they all came forward at once".
The Prisoner's Dilemna. Google it, if you haven't heard of it. It is something of a philosophical exercise that explains much of humanity and our history, at least one "pie wedge" of it.

"If they all came forward at once". How many situations and incidents throughout human history ca be explained by that, or more appropriately, the failure to do so?

Besides, most of our Rulers, whatever party they are from, have a deathly fear of the Serfs they rule. Why else would they have developed such intense and powerful methods of social control?

Even if our Congressional Democrats knew this and even IF thy had the gumption to come forward en masse, which I doubt, they would not dare to do so for fear of touching off the revoution which will cement the spiral of America into true and permanent Third World Status.

Their only hope to avoid this is to keep the game, now incontrovertibly corrupted at all levels, going on as it has been.

Consider this: Might not the current Republic party blather about civil war, secession, and revolution be about keeping that fear uppermost in the minds of the Democratic Leadership, to make them fearful of "pushing too hard" and causing them to hesitate and fall back from bold actions?

Personally, I'd wish they'd put their money where their mouths are, and let's get it over with.
