Why I trust Obama.. I just trust his "gut" ability to sift

the truth out of all the "chaf" he is getting. He has good instincts and sees around the corners better than anyone I have ever seen in politics at this level before. I loved Bill, but Obama is even better than Bill at seeing what is up ahead.

I think he is giving us a direction that we can as a country come to grips with what happened in the last 8 years, including our government allowing torture . It will not be a straight line to the finish, but a back and forth till we get it all out and get it right.

It will give me peace of mind, that we will never have to face this again.

1. He is teaching Civics 101 and that is what will safe our beloved democracy.

His lessons are planned in such a way that they will hit the learning style of all but the Kool Aide junkies. He IS a leader.

2. I trust his intelligence and his common sense.

His mother passed on to him that most respectable of Midwestern qualities--common sense and practicality. He knows what battles to pick and he will stand for what is right.
