Last night I wasn't watching tv, I was just listening. They played some of Darth's comments. He says a few words and then does a quick intake of breath.This happens the entire time he is speaking. Nobody else has that pattern. It's like he has to force air in every few seconds or something.

I've seen this many times. And he's been known to swell up with this from time to time. I've seen fluid pour from little spots on the skin of patients' arms they were so full of fluid. It's really a sad thing to have happen.

A lot of people do this for whatever reasons but mostly because they're not taught to pace their breathing while speaking. Gasps mean the person spoke too long without breathing.

He's spoken like that for a while now. His lungs may be operating at limited capacity due to his health but he may also be a sloppy orator.
