OK Duers, a couple questions about the Bushco insiders
What else are they afraid we will discover?

Who among them will throw either Bush or Cheney under the bus first? I don't see Addington covering for Cheney after Scooter.

Who will be the first to fall off of a high rise building, commit suicide or crash in an aircraft.

1. LIHOP or worse.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist but there's a lot we don't know about surrounding 9/11.

The Bushies own a nice plot of land in Paraguay (non-extradition country). Contingency plans have already been made.

6. Conspiracy theorist is what they call people who search for the truth
in order to discredit them. Sure, there are some nuts, but anyone who has looked beyond the MSM knows there is a lot that has been repressed. So, I agree with you. LIHOP or worse.

21. I've always meant to look up the LIHOP acronym I saw on DU
and now that I did, I realize I've thought that for a long time - as soon as I heard about that "Bin Laden determined to attack U.S...."

3. The B*sh Administration doesn't want us to find out...
Edited on Thu Apr-23-09 08:25 PM by DontTreadOnMe
The B*sh Administration doesn't want us to find out... that while the economic collapse was pending under their Administration's policies, they were handing out huge sums of the Military budget to Halliburton... billions. They couldn't hand out the contracts fast enough. It is hard to pay attention to your real job, when you have complete, unrestricted access to loot the Treasury with "black budget" military contracts, all in the name of "Patriotism". The entire phony war in the Middle East was just the cover, so the B8sh Admin could control "secret budgets" that will never be released, all in the name of "National Security".

15. Lots of money was stolen
in the phony war but there must be a paper trail somewhere.

4. Some factors
to consider:

During the Libby trial, when Cheney's best friend was being exposed for committing felonies, Dick had made it known he would be willing to take the stand. Then he had a change of heart. He watched his best buddy being convicted from the safety of his office.

After the conviction, many assumed Bush would grant a pardon. They believed that Cheney would be able to convince Bush to take this action. Bush didn't, and Cheney has expressed some anger since then.

So we have an old, unhealthy former VP, who refused to help Scooter when it was important to, and who lacked the juice to get the pardon afterwards. Add to that his extremely low levels of popularity among the public at large.

Cheney goes before Bush. However, at this time, I am concerned that some democrats are hoping to hold the line by making an example of Rumsfeld. Though he is as guilty as sin, Cheney is the key to all prosecutions.

8. I think you're right but my fear is that
Cheney will croak or be croaked so it will all go away.

5. One thing is true if Cheney and Rove are involved:
what we DON'T know is far worse than what we do know.

9. Couple of things
Edited on Thu Apr-23-09 08:50 PM by DemoTex
1. The un-seen videos that the ACLU sued (and won) for, and Sy Hersch wrote about. I think the key phrases in the discussion were "young boys screaming while being raped." Still ain't seen 'em.

2. The dealings of Dick Cheney's Energy Task Force in early 2001. Ken Lay wrote the book for Cheney. This shit is much more protected than the torture scandal. Why? Oilmen involved.

BTW: Excellent, excellent question Malaise! I love the way you think.

12. Both of those are very important
The Cheney Energy Task Force details would fill another piece of this puzzle of criminality.

Powell is prepared to protect her. Don't see that happening.
I hope she loses that university job...prison would be better.

17. I hate to see Condi as the Judas Goat in this ..
She deserves some blame, but not the entire steaming pile of ca-ca. But the wheels are in motion and the black woman who played ball with dangerous white men might take the fall. Well, there is a lesson in that association, too.

18. They surrounded themselves with stooges
for precisely this moment. I don't give a flying fugg about one of them including Condi. Evil has no race or ethnicity. She stayed on so she could hang out with those in power and shop for fancy Italian shoes. Bet she isn't feeling so comfortable now.
Maybe she can play Beethoven's Fifth on her piano even if she can't plead it.
