Suspect arrested in murder of homeless man on U of H campus

HOUSTON—A suspect has been arrested in connection with the February
murder of a homeless man at a bus stop on the University of Houston’s
main campus.

Jeremy Lee Pierce, 32, is facing murder charges for the shooting
death of a man, who police say was in his 50s.

The man Pierce is accused of shooting in the head was Joe Tall.
His family says he was homeless for 30 years.
