Serious question - Who supplies the talking points for the RW now?
I know during Bushco it was a job shared by Rove and Grover Norquist. Are these two still filling that job? Is there still a morning call to make sure all are in line? Seems there is still some form of lockstep going on. I can't believe Boner is smart enough to make up talking points let alone keep the zombies in lockstep/
While we poke at limpy as the new leader, I doubt he gives enough of a shit about anyone but himself to do that much work.

2. Good question
My understanding it is used to be the 'gang of five', but I have no idea if they are still influential or not.

Supposedly Representative Jack Kingston does it now.

9. No, I'm just making noise. I imagine talking points are generated
from their think tanks.

13. That was my thought too...
Probabaly from the American Enterprise Institute, Cato, and what's the other big one? I can't keep them straight. But where do they get theirs talking points from? It's like they're distributed and all the RW talking heads :puke: the same thing. I love it when Keith or Jon Stewart has them on.

15. Yes. And?
The question in the OP was who is supplying the GOP with talking points.

Not, who has good ideas for the GOP.

17. Oh.. good point.
I don't think they do think. I wanted to quote Ugarte from Casablanca but it doesn't fit. Maybe I can't think either or I'm too tired.

11. As I recall, it used to be a "blast fax" from the RNC
Which meant of course, that it came directly from the blood-stained desk of Turdblossom.

I have NO IDEA where it comes from now.

One thing's for sure. It ain't coming from either Boehner's or Steele's office.

18. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain
(the curtain is pulled away to reveal an impish Karl Rove still pulling the levers and pushing the buttons). Plus, as a regular on Faux he can sell his evil wares first hand. I'd bet that Cheney is still calling some shots too.
