Michelle Obama sneaks out for burgers
Edited on Thu Apr-23-09 09:46 PM by Contrary1
Normal people in the White House is a refreshing change.

"WASHINGTON - First lady Michelle Obama pulled back the curtains a little bit on life in the White House, revealing that she and her staff like to sneak out to eat at fun places.

Three months into her new role, she said Thursday she has the best job in the White House, doesn't miss cooking and new dog Bo is "kind of crazy."

"Every now and then I have this thing that I like to do with some of my staff members, and we sneak out, without telling anybody, and we go and test out all the fun places to eat in D.C.," Mrs. Obama told children visiting the White House.

"I went to Five Guys and nobody knew it," she said, naming a popular chain of hamburger restaurants. "It was good."

Mrs. Obama didn't mean that she sneaks out of the White House without the Secret Service agents who protect her, but that she sometimes goes out without reporters following her, an aide said..."

2. Ugh, Five Guys
I got an order of fries from there once and felt sick for a week. That place is pretty much the epitome of gluttony.

5. The Gores used to do that all the time. You'd see them walking around
all sorts of places, dressed way down (sweats), and politely pretend not to see them.

7. Uh oh. Those better not be BEEF burgers.
Between this and the fact that the Obamas have children, there are going to be some VERY unhappy "Progressi-Puritans" around here...

I can almost hear the clucks of disapproval, now.. and please remember when you hear the word "cluck", that Kentucky Fried Chicken is morally equivalent to, if not worse than, the Third Reich. Thank you for your time.
