1. I already cut off one of my two subscriptions...

A result, both of the lousy current programming that has inflicted Xm listeners with all the crappy Sirius talkers whether they wanted it or not, but more because of the constant preempting the past two years of XM167 for sports events. I completed a detailed survey sent to me with lots of comments regarding the lack of responsiveness to programming and similar complaints from subscribers who came to XM specifically for progressive talk.

I retained one radio subscription, only because it is paid up for two years, but got rid of all extra radios. I'll be happy to try to request Rhodes, but, I somehow doubt it will make the difference. Hartman is about the only thing left that I listen to, still on XM. I go to AAR site to hear RIng of Fire on weekends.

It really pisses me off what has happened to XM... Your mileage may vary, but that is how I feel. If I thought I'd get my money refunded, I would do so.

2. XM has been a whole lot less responsive since the merger.
I used to at least get a form response when I would complain about the "Radio Left" programming decisions. Now nothing.

Now there are fewer programs all around and channel 167 on weekends is nothing but re-runs of Thom, Ed, and Stephanie, and that's when it's not off the air. I miss "Ring of Fire" and have to download it if I want to hear it now.

Monopolies never serve the consumer well.
